National Transportation Planning & Capacity Building

Reconnecting Communities Institute - USDOT

Led 38+ hours of transportation planning technical assistance to 137 communities in 44 states. Collaborated with 10+ subcontractor teams and 5+ junior program staff. Facilitated and oversaw 4 national working groups focused on transportation safety, design, and economic development.

About Me.

I've been creating and planning since I was a kid — drawn to how cities work and the design of its interconnections. Over time those instincts merged into a career that crosses disciplines and produces outputs at every scale.

I'm an AICP- and CPRP-certified planner with a Master's in City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis. My work has spanned conservation land management and capital campaign strategy, zoning review and streetscape project implementation, and federal technical assistance programs at the national scale.

What keeps me in this work is the chance to make cities safer and more connected for the people moving through them every day. That's what brought me to active transportation and bikeway planning for the City of Memphis, and it's what I build toward in every project.
